Other properties
As a result of the boron compounds included in its formulation, BENO-THERM helps
to prevent parasitical and vermin
intrusion. It has
therefore gained considerable success in its applications in farm buildings.
BENO-THERM is pH controlled and is ideally suited for insulating steel-structure
buildings where use of corrosive materials must be avoided.
Versatility
Made of small particle-sized fibres to be spray-applied, BENO-THERM fills every nook and
cranny, forming a uniform, thick coating without any gaps. In walls where it is injected
at the recommended 3 lb/cu. ft. density according to the BENO-MAT system, it does not
settle or sag over the years and improves the structure's air tightness by reducing air
leakage.
Lower costs
Beno-Therm
is manufactured as per a careful
application of the latest technologies;
it provides an economical alternative
to other insulation material.
Luxury and comfort at economical
price in your own interior:
warm in the winter, cool in
the summer and soundproof.

ACOUSTICAL
PROPERTIES
BENO-THERM
contains soundproofing
properties and proven superior
performance. BENO-THERM is injected at 3.0 lb. density per cubic
foot in party walls and at 2.5
lb. density into existing ceilings/floors
constructions directly through
2 in. holes pierced into the
gypsum boards or, in the case
of unfinished walls, through
a BENO-MAT membrane mesh stapled
to the wall frame before installing
the closing wall panel.
See
illustrations: walls
and ceilings/floors constructions
(NBC 95 and IRC-766).
Test
and results Based
on testing done in laboratory
and field conditions for various
types of walls and floors constructions,
BENO-THERM has consistently
performed over the years better
than other known fibers.
Not only has it shown superior
sound abatement properties,
but also filled cavities more
effectively and proved safer
for applicators. These
test results are available upon
request.
